Cold weather payments

The cold weather payment scheme was extended from 1 November. A person who has been awarded income support, pension credit or income-based jobseeker's allowance and who has a child for whom they are entitled to child tax credit with an additional amount for a disability or severe disability will also be entitled to a cold weather payment.
