Marriageable age

The government has said it is going to raise the age at which it will grant people entry clearance to the UK as spouses. Currently, someone who is 16 or over can apply for entry clearance as a spouse. The government has said it is going to raise the minimum age to 18. No prior notice of the date of the change will be given.
