The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has produced two new leaflets to help ethnic minority women who face discrimination at work. One, Her face doesn't fit, is aimed at women themselves and outlines some situations in which they may have faced discrimination. It also signposts readers to sources of help. This leaflet is available in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu and Welsh.
Advising ethnic minority women about discrimination at work is for advisers and gives information on when discrimination may occur, what action to take, and case summaries. Both leaflets are available free from the EOC website at www.eoc.org.uk/sexandrace or by telephoning 0845 601 5901.
