Mortgages information from FSA

Following its takeover of mortgage regulation, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has published some new information to help borrowers and potential borrowers.

Choosing a mortgage - Taking the right steps is a set of 13 straightforward factsheets in an A4 folder, covering everything from how much to borrow and where to get advice to methods of repayment and dealing with problems.

What to do when you can't meet your mortgage payments is a four-page A4 leaflet should be sent by lenders to borrowers of mortgages regulated by the FSA.
